This past Saturday we had a Women's Spectacular at church. We had a Christian Comedienne, lunch and a whole lot of fun. Michelle, the speaker we had, encouraged us spiritually to always find joy in the Lord and made us laugh out loud a good part of the day. The Women's Ministry Team did a skit or should I say a 'gig' after lunch. We lipsync'd "All I Want To Do Is Serve The Lord" a remake of Sheryl Crowes song "All I Want To Do Is Have Some Fun" or something like that. Can you guess which one is me? Our instruments aren't pictured, but I played a white base with a black rose on it. I had a solo base part in the song. We rocked the house! Pictured starting in the front left to right: Cheryl Williams, Heather Felikisak. Second row: Suzette DeLay (pink hair), Cindy Boultinghouse, Doris Rosener. Third row: Toni Sierer (red hair) and standing in he back is Sheila Kurshiak. Sheila awas our lead singer, Cheryl was on the drums, Heather on guitar, Cindy on keybords, Doris on guitar, Toni sang too. Afterwards a lady from a different church asked if we would come to her church and perform. This was our second 'gig' so to speak. At Christmas were we the 5 Amigos we were dressed as sleeping rancheros (not sure if there's pictures of that) and sang Jingle Bells in Spanish. I was the lead singer in that one and played the tamborine. Our next big event is the Mother and Daugther Banquet, May 10th. Our theme is "Pretty in Pink" P - purpose, I N , the K- Kingdom. We are going to have a fashion show and catered lunch.
